Tivoli designs products with
special attention to technical
specifications particular
to each country, such are;
power voltage, electrical
frequency and power plug adaptors.This
includes, but is not limited
to, voltage, electronic frequency,
and external power adaptors.
There are two main versions
of our products. With UL Safety
approval intended for operation
on 117VAC; 60Hz electrical
power, normal in the US, Canada,
and some other parts of the
world. With CE intended for
operation on 230VAC, 50Hz
power, normal in Europe and
much of the rest of the world.
There are some other variations
in product (cord plug and
other wise) to satisfy national,
country requirements. In Korea
for example you will need
to pass IECEE 60065 CB Safety
Approval.Please note that
If you purchased your product
in the US, your warranty is
valid within the US during
the period specified (usually
one year). If said unit is
brought overseas, the warranty
is not suspended until you
return to the US. Nor is the
foreign Tivoli Audio distributor/dealer
under any obligation to service
or exchange a warranted (or
out of warranty) unit purchased
in the US.
Even though, we will make
every effort to support our
customers and our products
should a unit which was purchased
in the US become damaged overseas
as a result of improper use,
such as using an incorrect
power supply or running off
of incorrect voltage, such
resulting damage is not covered
under the factory warranty.
